Authors of communications and posters presented at BOBCATSSS 2024 will have the following publication opportunities:
1) article submission to the Canadian Journal of Information and Library Science (CJILS). CJILS is a refereed scholarly periodical published by the Canadian Association of Information Science. Established in 1976, the journal is recognized internationally for its authoritative contributions to library and information science research and is indexed in major databases such as Web of Science and Scopus. It is a diamond open access journal without fees for readers or authors.
2) chapter submission to be included in an E-book to be published by São Paulo State University in association with Oficina Universitária and Cultura Acadêmica Publishing, and University of Coimbra, to be indexed in SciELO. The e-book will have a DOI and each chapter will have an individual DOI.

Submissions to the CJILS and the E-book will have a double-blind review evaluation. We aim to have the first round of peer review completed during Spring 2024. All the published texts will be available on open access.

January 29th at 3 pm (GMT): Online Workshop “Publishing in the Canadian Journal of Information and Library Science” by Philippe Mongeon, Editor-in-Chief, Dalhousie University.
